She spent most of her childhood days in East Bay Area and attended El Cerrito High School where she played varsity softball. Emily’s parents were of Italian descent and had a huge influence on her upbringing. Her father was a football coach who instilled discipline and hard work ethics in her at an early age.
After graduating from high school in 1997, Emily went on to attend the University of Washington where she studied law and political science. During this time, she also became involved in various extracurricular activities such as cheerleading for the Seahawks and interned with the United States District Court for Eastern District of Washington.
Currently, Emily lives in Seattle with her husband Jon Skoog whom she married on September 14, 2017. The couple met while they both worked at a tech company called ‘Yahoo!

Emily Compagno was born and raised in Oak Knoll, California. She spent most of her childhood playing sports and participating in extracurricular activities. Emily attended the University of Washington, where she graduated with a degree in Political Science.
After college, Emily moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as an attorney. However, she soon realized that her true passion was working in the media industry. In 2010, she began working as a legal analyst for Fox News Channel.
Currently, Emily resides in New York City but frequently travels for work. Despite living on the East Coast now, she remains connected to her roots and often visits family and friends back home in California.
